Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center’s 46,000-square-foot new emergency department and covered connector between existing buildings is currently underway in Carson City, NV. This lateral included seven miles of 6-inch pipe to replace an existing pipeline in this rural community. During pressure testing, crews found a manufacturer’s defect in the pipe which was hidden by the factory applied coating.
