West America Commerce Center Phase II

A 610,000-square-foot spec facility at Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, the West America Commerce Center Phase II is a tilt-up concrete warehouse built from 65 concrete panels, varying in height from 35 to 40 feet. The corner panels were 16-point-picks (150,000 pounds on the hook). The building was developed by Tolles Development company (TDC) with financing partner Washington Capital. The 31.8-acre site is adjacent the Tesla Gigafactory and takes into account the need for worker parking and has 170 excess trailer stalls. The roof includes extra insulation and additional skylights. Clerestory windows provide more natural light and the building is lit by LEDs. There are 122 loading docks and six drive-in doors.
