NDOT, Q&D and our supportive team members and subcontractors were honored by the Nevada AGC for the I-80 Carlin Tunnel Rehabilitation project, a CM-at-Risk (CMAR) delivery project that combined tunnel lighting improvements, roadway reconstruction and bridge retrofits along a 4.5-mile stretch of Interstate 80. The award was presented to Q&D for contractor’s innovation, based on multiple project ideas contributed by Q&D to help provide best value for our client, NDOT, on this critical infrastructure project. By selecting the CMAR method, NDOT incorporated their expertise at design and transportation management with Q&D’s expertise as a construction manager and builder to leverage the combined strength of the entire team during the preconstruction phase of the project.
