The City of Yerington and USDA Rural Development hosted a ground breaking ceremony to celebrate the start of construction of a $41M water and wastewater project for the town of Yerington! The improvement project will replace aged water and sewer pipes to over 3,000 city residences and nearly 70 homes on the Yerington Paiute Tribe colony. The project will include 20 miles of new infrastructure and the work is already underway! The project is scheduled to be completed in 18 months.
