Ramon Sessions Basketball Performance Center Dedication

Ramon Sessions Basketball Performance Center Dedication

Ramon Sessions, Ex-Wolf Pack and current NBA basketball player, was in Reno today at University of Nevada, Reno for the dedication of the new Ramon Sessions Basketball Performance Center. Ramon Sessions gave a generous $1 million donation to help make this project what it is today. “Dreams do come true,” Sessions said, “and this is a dream for me.” Ramon Sessions and athletics director Doug Knuth both spoke, and then the event concluded with all attendees getting a tour of the new building.

Set to open late 2017, this 30,000-square-foot-facility will feature two full-length basketball courts and eight baskets. Q&D, the contractor for the project, is transforming what was previously the Lombardi Recreation Center, and remodeling it into this amazing new facility to serve the Nevada Basketball team and all student-athletes. This facility will have a new gym, floor, lights and scoreboard, new upgraded sound system, and eight baskets in the court area. There will be a strength and conditioning center, nutrition bar, new locker space areas, and coaches’ offices as well.
