Q&D Construction, an innovative construction manager and builder, is proud to announce the promotion of Garett Jackson to Senior Superintendent in the Building Group.
Mr. Jackson joined Q&D in 2005 as a foreman after leading the drywall crew for a subcontractor on the Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center West Campus project, a multi-million-dollar medical office building, parking garage, advanced fitness center and clinical services facility which was built using the collaborative CM at Risk project delivery method.
Jackson quickly moved up the Q&D ranks to superintendent, leading field crews from structure through completion of the landmark Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe resort, a LEED® certified building project. Mr. Jackson’s experience at interior construction, exceptional eye for quality and ability to track large amounts of detail helped ensure the team’s success on this six-story, 226-room, AAA Five Diamond property in California.

He provides excellent constructability feedback and can create realistic schedules at the conceptual stage from very little detail. Garett is a real leader; he understands how to put a project together and also how to inspire teamwork on every level.”
Jackson’s resume of projects also includes multiple public CM at Risk projects in Northern Nevada including a new maintenance facility for the Town of Minden and several Washoe County School District revitalization projects. He recently returned from completing the field management of the conversion of an existing mall building in Rochester, MN into a 140,000-sf SCHEELS store and he is currently starting the Saint Mary’s Robb Drive Medical Clinic project, a 40,000-sf remodel of an existing vacant grocery store building in Reno, NV into an outpatient medical clinic with imaging services.
