Q&D Specialty Services Department crews are demolishing the oldest active bridge in Nevada! The bridge, located in Lovelock, sits over the Humboldt River. Crews are diverting water and, as of today, have demolished one-third of the bridge. The remainder of the bridge is scheduled to be down by the end of this week, weather permitting.
Another successful marathon weekend is in the books! AQD crews demolished the Mill Street Bridge this past weekend. Congratulations to Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport on their first successful inbound flight using their temporary baggage claim last week! Q&D is excited to be on STS’s team for their Terminal Expansion and Modernization project, currently underway and scheduled to be completed in Fall 2022.
AQD crews demolished the SBX East-to-North Bridge over a marathon weekend! Two crews worked 12-hour shifts to remove the old bridge in less than 30 hours. The next of five bridges to be demolished will be the Mill Street bridge over a marathon weekend next month.
