On a six-month, phased schedule, Q&D rapidly transformed an aging golf course into a world class property where the players want for nothing. Our objective was to rapidly transform an aging golf course into a world class property. The first goal was to expand and renovate a golf course supper club and events center in 3 months. The second goal was to build a new 12,000-square-foot clubhouse and pro shop is 4 months. The final phase included clock towers, gazebos, remote restrooms, tennis courts and more. Phases overlapped with a total construction time of only 6 months. Q&D self-performed a great deal of the work, which allowed very tight sequencing of key activities. Interior millwork was manufactured and installed by Artefice by Dianda, Q&D’s in-house millwork manufacturing facility, and site work was done in-house as well.
“Your monthly updated project schedules were the most professional I have ever seen and more importantly the personnel you assigned to the various tasks were superior in every way. In fact, I am lost for words to describe how please I am with the performance of your entire crew. Even though it should have take a miracle to pull off what your team accomplished, you met every projected completion date with a couple of days to spare.”
– Mario J. Antoci, Owner, The Gulf Club at Genoa Lakes
SYSTEM HIGHLIGHTS
The site included 5,500 feet of curb and 95,000 square feet of asphalt.
FINISH HIGHLIGHTS
Millwork was phased so installation could begin well before the total package was milled. The three architectural teams (all from the same firm) left many of the woodwork finish details to the manufacturing detailers so they could stay focused on broader project issues.
