We appreciate and thank Q&Der Hector Henriquez for his quick action putting out a fire near an apartment complex in Sun Valley! Thank you to Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue and Fire Chief Charles Moore for honoring Hector with the Chief’s Medal of Commendation – one of TMFR’s highest civilian awards. On June 23rd, Hector saw a fire approaching an apartment complex and responded immediately by backing up his water truck to extinguish the flames and spray the surrounding bushes. Thank you Hector!
