The Colorado Springs Fire Department stopped by our Scheels Colorado Springs site last week. The firefighters practiced and prepared for an emergency evacuation of an iron worker in distress. Project update – The team is making progress on the 220,000 square-foot SCHEELS flagship store. The structural steel is 75% complete, crews are pouring concrete on the 2nd floor, installing underground MEP and starting work on the exterior of the building. We can’t wait to shop for our favorite outdoor recreation and fashion merchandise coming Spring 2021.
