Civil engineering students at the U.S. Air Force Academy toured our Scheels project in Colorado Springs. They experienced construction in action, looking on as steel work continues at the 220,000-square-foot store. Our team enjoyed leading the tour and answering all the great questions. The Nick Poulakidas Wildcats team – kids, teachers, parents and community members – all celebrated the grand opening of the new elementary school with a ribbon cutting! This is the first new elementary school in Washoe County to open in ten years.
The team finished paving last week on the I-80 Keystone to Stateline project – a huge milestone for the project! The Village on Sage Street dorm-style housing project is now open to residents! The $8.5M project was funded through donations of time and material from companies, volunteer agencies, and vendors in our community.
