The Hazel Valley Road Bridge project is making great progress, already a week ahead of schedule. Construction of a new, simple-span, precast, pre-stressed deck slab bridge over EID canal is scheduled to be completed in November. The project is located five miles east of Pollock Pines and one mile southeast of Highway 50. The team has placed the first four slab girders and will pour the first half of the bridge deck today. The second half of the bridge and retaining wall are scheduled to be completed by the end of October.
