Q&D’s aviation team is actively constructing the Terminal Expansion and Modernization Project at Rock Springs–Sweetwater County Airport in Wyoming. This transformative project will double the size of the existing terminal, adding 20,000 square feet and bringing major upgrades throughout the facility.

We’re delivering a modern, efficient terminal designed to enhance the passenger experience and streamline airport operations. Key improvements include:

To minimize disruption during construction, the project team developed an innovative solution: a fully functional temporary terminal housed in a sprung structure. This interim facility includes all essential terminal functions, providing a comfortable and efficient experience for travelers while construction is underway.

By shifting operations into this temporary space, we shaved a full year off the construction timeline—saving time, reducing stress on airport staff, and keeping passengers moving with minimal interruptions.

We’re proud to help bring this next-generation terminal to life, increasing capacity and elevating the travel experience in Rock Springs.
