Q&D Construction has added a SONIC DRILL RIG (SDC500-28E) to its fleet of specialized equipment, further expanding this ENR Top-400-ranked firm’s client-focused capabilities. The Q&D Mining Group now provides new services, including assay collection for mineral exploration, core samples for environmental and/or geotechnical surveys and horizontal drilling for utility-related construction. Sonic drilling provides better quality results – faster and cleaner, reducing drilling costs and shortening the timeframe from exploration to final results from the laboratory.
Q&D’s Sonic Drill rig is currently deployed with its crew in service to Elim Mining at their Casa Grande, Arizona, Cactus Mine location where it is performing assay sample collection and other exploratory work.
