Q&D renovated the cardiac care wing, building a new heart surgery center and cardiac intensive care suites. During the ’90s, Q&D managed more than $30,000,000 in renovations and new construction on the Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center campus, including the heart surgery center and cardiac intensive care suites. We oversaw renovations or relocations for radiology, data processing, personnel, chiller equipment, helistop, personnel offices, parking lot and north entry site, central kitchen, a pediatrics wing, a pulmonary wing, and the receiving and loading dock. Because of the constant demands of the hospital industry, all these projects had to be constructed without breaking the flow of services provided by the hospital.
“Q&D is a terrific contractor to work with. Their attention to detail is impressive and their ability to work with the clinical staff is second to none.”
-Stephen J. Short, Saint Mary’s Medical Center Architect
