Q&D was the heavy/civil contractor for Apple’s set of three 400,000-square-foot data centers in Sparks, NV. Work on the 200-acre campus included civil site work, and utilities (sewer, water, storm drains and mass grading) plus trenching for power and fire water, as well as site concrete and asphalt paving. Q&D crews moved over 1,000,000 cubic yards of earth. Security was very tight to ensure no trade secrets were revealed during or after construction. Q&D complied with all security protocols from start to finish.
