A huge thank you to everyone that donated money to buy gifts for our adopted family this Christmas! Q&D adopted a local family of six to fulfill their holiday wishes and check all the items off their Christmas list. Q&D employees raised a total of $1,200! The kids were very excited and appreciative of the gifts.
The team presented our two local charities for the year Step 1 and Northern Nevada RAVE Family Foundation each with a $1,600 check to help support their inspiring outreach in our community! More than 3,000 Northern Nevada families will have a Christmas meal thanks to the help of Catholic Charities and volunteers including Q&D team members Jerry Hunter, Delbert McCall, Garrett Valenzuela and Michael Esqueda. The team lifted the final steel beam into place at John Bohach Elementary School! Future students of the school and community members signed the beam at a topping out ceremony to celebrate this milestone. The 86,000-square-foot school project is ahead of schedule and set to open to students next August.
