Q&D’s homes team mastered new construction technology with this residence, designed to undulate into a hillside. The structure glows with numerous natural light shafts, semi-transparent building materials and hidden lighting sources tucked into interior surfaces to create a fascinating blend of privacy, views of the Sierra Nevada and varying lighting experiences around the clock.

SYSTEM HIGHLIGHTS
The 7,672-square-foot home’s one-of-a-kind interior and exterior fixtures and surfaces are installed for a perfect fit at every joint. To ensure precision, Q&D’s homes team turned conceptual drawings into field dimensions and used electronic distance measuring equipment to establish all points of the foundation, providing all trades with specific and exact coordinates.
