In 2019, Q&D Construction was selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Glacier Park International Airport (GPIA) Terminal Expansion Project in Kalispell, Montana. This ambitious modernization effort will more than double the size of the existing terminal, significantly enhancing the passenger experience and boosting operational efficiency.
In March 2023, a major project milestone was achieved with the opening of three new gates, a state-of-the-art checked baggage inspection system, an expanded ticketing hall, a larger security checkpoint, and new back-of-house facilities.
Phase 2 is now underway and scheduled for completion in June 2026. This phase will deliver a new baggage claim carousel, renovated restrooms, removed gates 5 & 6 hold rooms and the addition of Gate 7—complete with a new passenger boarding bridge.
Throughout construction, Q&D remains committed to minimizing disruption and maintaining smooth airport operations—so passengers can focus on the breathtaking scenery that makes their journey unforgettable.
"The team at Q&D brought exceptional expertise and proactive problem-solving to the table, which was critical for the success of this complex airport construction project."
